Alfalfa Hay

Description

Just like us humans, small pets require different nutrients throughout their life stages. Alfalfa is packed full of essential proteins for growing or underweight small pets. This makes it perfect for pets up to 7 months, pregnant/feeding small pets, or older animals due to its fantastic protein and calcium levels.

We recommend speaking to your vet before feeding your pet large amounts of Alfalfa as its high calcium and protein levels which can be fattening or cause issues to healthy adult pets if they are fed too much.

All of our delicious hay has been dust extracted to ensure it is of the highest quality and prevent upset to your animals. If you need further information on the ideal diet and volume of hay to feed your small pet, take a look at our Feeding Guide for your small pet.
